Tesla Model 3: Mirror - Rear View (Remove and Replace)

Mirror - Rear View (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the lower quad camera cover. See Quad Camera Cover - Lower (Remove and Replace).

Mirror - Rear View (Remove and Replace)

  1. Grip the rear view mirror stalk, and then turn counterclockwise to release the rear view mirror.

Caution:

Do not turn the rear view mirror itself.

Mirror - Rear View (Remove and Replace)

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear view mirror, and then remove the mirror from the vehicle.

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

    Install Wipe up any spilled coolant. Caution:  Spilled coolant can create an electrical path. O-rings in good condition Make sure that the o-rings are not damaged and that they are properly seated in the connector groove prior to inserting the tube into the power conversion system.
