DO NOT TRANSPORT WITH WHEELS ON THE GROUND
The rear motor in Model 3 generates power
when the wheels spin. Always transport Model
3 with all four tires off the ground. Ensure that
the tires are unable to spin at any time during
transport.
Warning: NEVER TRANSPORT YOUR
VEHICLE WITH THE TIRES I
Sensor - Rear Motor - Speed (Remove and Replace)
Special tool required for this procedure:
1451839-00-A SKT, EP10 LOW PROFILE
1115031-00-A EXT, WOBBLE, 1/4" DR, 1.25"
Remove
Drain the oil from the rear drive unit. See Gearbox
