Remove
- Remove the passenger knee airbag. See
Airbag - Knee - Front Passenger (Remove and Replace).

- Remove the RH footwell duct from the HVAC module, and then remove the RH
footwell duct from the vehicle.

Install
Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

Open the trunk.
Release the clips at the upper corners, then work around the trim to
release the clips that attach the trunk trim to the trunk lid.
Note: The clips (x4) closest to the rear window have a higher
retention force; use a clip prytool, if necessary. Remove any broken

Note: This procedure describes how to manually open the rear door
on a vehicle that does not have 12V power.
Remove the bolt that attaches the access panel to the underside of the
armrest.
Torque 6 Nm
Release the clips that attach the acc
