Tesla Model 3: Seal - Inner Belt - Rear Door - LH (Remove and Replace)
Remove
- Remove the LH rear door trim panel. See
Panel - Door Trim - Rear - LH (Remove and Install).
- Release the clips that attach the rear and front pieces of the inner
belt seal to the rear door, and then remove the rear and front pieces of the
inner belt seal.
- Slowly peel the length of the strip piece of the seal from the rear
door.

This procedure was formulated using a release candidate or production
model. Follow safety requirements and use extreme caution when working on or
near high-voltage systems and components.
Remove
Open the LH front door.
Use narrow-width tape to carefully mark the location of the secondary
seal around the door.

Install
Install the bolts that attach the wiper motor to the vehicle.
Torque 7 Nm
Connect the electrical connector to the wiper motor.
Warning: Do not place limbs within the motor linkage area as the
wiper arms will automatically transition to Parking Mode.

Remove
Use Toolbox to put the vehicle into Factory Mode.
Invoke diagnostics on the touchscreen.
Inspect the Notifications for either a BMS_a123 or a BMS_W123 alert.
If:
Either alert is present - Contact Service Engineering. Do not perform
this procedure.
