Tesla Model 3: 12V Power - Connect

Connect

12V Power- Connect

  1. Remove the logic connector cap from the high voltage controller connector.

  1. Connect the electrical harness to the high voltage controller connector.

12V Power- Connect

  1. Install the foam cover to the RH side of the penthouse.
  2. Install the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).

12V Power- Connect

  1. Connect the 12V battery negative cable to the battery, and then tighten the nut which secures the terminal clamp around the battery post. Ensure that the terminal clamp is fully seated down on the battery post before tightening. Torque 6 Nm
  2. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  3. Press the brake pedal to turn on vehicle power.
  4. Remove the shop towels from the rear door strikers.
  5. Close the rear doors.
  6. Return the windows, seats, climate control, audio, and charging to the state before service.
